About Me

Thanks for checking out Rustic Patch Photography. My name is Lindsay and I absolutely love what I do. Being a mom of three girls, I know how fast these years go and how precious capturing a moment, big or small is! I've always had an eye for art, and many years ago started taking up photographing as a hobby while documenting everyday life with my  children. I was busy young mom, and my focus was just that of my own children. But as kids do, they grew, and it allowed me to explore my hobby outside of the home. This hobby grew into a career along with my passion to start dabbling in other venues and areas including weddings, births, senior photos and more!

Rustic Patch Photography is incorporating the raw elements of nature and the vintage feel into both portrait and lifestyle outputs. I am a mix of staged and non staged photography in other words. I love being creative and thinking outside the box when it comes to photography. I'm always asking myself the question,"what can I do to make this photo pop? Where can I place my subject(s) that will be more artistic and eye catching?" I am the photographer that is in the trenches so to speak during my photoshoots. After shoots, I'm usually always covered in dirt, burs, leaves, etc. from all of the different angles and locations that I like to shoot from.

My education degree, and my second job as a preschool teacher, allows me to patiently work with children of all ages in a stress-free and fun experience. I am silly and goofy, and will take my camera where the child takes me into their worlds per se:) Capturing the joy and personality of children, is something that I love exploring!
